For all you Filofax fans out there, do you remember when Jonathan found me a Pink Breast Cancer Mini Filofax in an opshop for $2? As it was super rusty I thought instead taking on the risky business of attempting to clean it, I would email Filofax and see if they could repair it.

I sent off an email explaining that my little Filo was very sick and soon enough I got a reply saying to pop it in the post so they could diagnose it. Now, a few weeks later, the post man delivered this:

Pink jeans, pink polish, pink Filofax!

a Pocket Raspberry Metropol! The accompanying note said that, regrettably, there was no cure for my $2 find and, as the Breast Cancer Filofax was no longer being produced, they sent me the next best thing.

I am thrilled! $2 Filofax plus $7 shipping gave me a brand new organiser! The most exciting thing is the massive wad of brand spanking new refills. Yet it still doesn’t beat the incredible Personal Cherry Classic my Mum bought for $3.95 as the closure was broken. Or all the 30 A5 Filofax rulers I got for 2 cents each (I don’t have an A5 so I’m still not sure what to do with them). But I think my Filofax bargain hunting skills are developing nicely.
