About Jono

21 years old, studying Computer Science, Type 1 diabetic, and pen obsessed since I first wrote with a fountain pen, the obsession has since migrated further into the realm of “stationery in general”. I spent the bulk of my savings building a collection, and with only a bunch of pens and know how as a result it was difficult to figure out where to go from there. Enter Pentorium, an outlet for my itch to educate the general masses on why penmanship is much more than just writing something on a piece of paper.

Further along the way, and after starting my own Instagram dedicated to just pictures of pens taken with my iPhone, Charlotte told me I had a real knack for photography. Big mistake, as I bought my first SLR and then spent even more money on lenses and all manner of accessories. I now have a deep passion for photography, pens, and technology that all go hand in hand, and define what makes me “me”.  I’m currently teaching myself to program for iOS apps, and plan to make it into my main career.

I’m always willing to help out a newbie and those who find it difficult to enjoy writing, and everyone else too! Writing is something you should enjoy doing, and it’s possible for everyone to enjoy it too! I used to hate it, but now I can barely go anywhere without a pen in my pocket, and I hope I can help you to do the same :)
